Yes, this is what my desk looks like.  This has been pretty much today, and every day for a while now.  I'm going for a new accreditation at the preschool, revamping the website with a whole new look and integrating the preschool blog, etc.  I have held multiple staff trainings, parent conferences, and more.  We've had field trips and waterslides, birthday parties and even an "Easy Bake Oven Bake Off!"  There is never a "down" moment, and it looks as if this will continue well into the fall.  And, of course, I'm reviewing the staff and parent handbooks, making the necessary policy changes, and on and on. 

I have no fewer than a dozen books to read, 14 classroom observations and reviews to complete, Oh, and did I mention that I'm working on my Ph.D.?  It's taken back burner to the accreditation, however, as my final thesis involves the accreditation process-which has to be complete for me to write it. 

So, yes, I'm a little busy here.  If I seem to drop off of the face of the earth until January (perish the thought), now you know why.  If I don't answer e-mails, or phone calls, it may just be that I am sleeping off the workaholic haze, from beneath the manila folders that seem to be breeding atop my desk.

All this, and five kids too!  I assure you, I'm terribly sane-anyone can do this much.  I suppose it's just that few want to!

I have been waiting forever for the Heather Bailey Freshcut Scrapbooking goodies to become available!  I have been a huge fan of Heather since I spotted her in Home Companion.  Anyway, thank goodness for Pam at Strawberry Fields!  She is always on top of what is cool, hip and fresh in scrapbooking!
